The facility is located at the REPSOL Group&#8217;s Ugaldebieta service station, in Abanto-Zierbena and marks a major innovation in several aspects: \u200b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vehicles capable of taking the maximum power can be charged in 5\u201310 minutes (comparable to conventional refuelling times). \u200b<\/li>\n<li>The four terminals are each capable of delivering up to 400 kW with the CCS standard, and 100kW with the ChaDeMo standard.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>The facility&#8217;s DC bus architecture allows optimum distribution of available power to up to four vehicles.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>The technology allows for the incorporation of renewable distributed generation and power storage. In other words, solar panels and storage systems can be used for a range of purposes, such as optimising the power required from the power grid, stabilising the power system with large-scale use of renewables and injecting energy into the grid as required, while still providing an ultra-fast charging service. \u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IBIL has led conception, definition, and installation of the project and is now in charge of operating and maintaining the infrastructure. In the electrical and electronic area, the inverters and charging terminals were manufactured by Ingeteam and the transformer centre and medium voltage switchgear were supplied by Ormazabal. Based on research into new electric transport technology, a new hybrid truck will be developed using smart algorithms to guarantee 100% electric operation within urban areas. And thanks to the introduction of public-access charging infrastructures, the project will also promote urban development based on sustainability, efficiency and clean energy, all fundamental pillars of the Smart City concept.\u200b<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the development of this project will provide us with essential knowledge for deploying electric charging stations for heavy industrial vehicles at a national and international level. The developments will include, on the one hand, the EV itself, and on the other, the charging station and the operators of the charging and mobility infrastructure (the latter to make the process easier for EV users to use and manage).\u200b<\/p>\n<p>It will enable a relationship of mutual trust to be established between the different agents exchanging information in the charging ecosystem, through:\u200b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creation of an open, neutral Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for handling digital certificates in the area of EV charging\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Establishment of an exchange mechanism between these certificates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200bThis will ensure securitization of communications, which in turn will pave the way for new forms of usage in the future. The following objectives have been established for the Multihub project:\u200b<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u200bTo promote sustainable transportation and the use of zero-emission public and private vehicles, by providing users with access to multi-vehicle charging points.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200bTo optimise the energy operation of the charging station using demand forecasting and local power generation.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>To encourage the creation of new business models for charging stations and services related to electromobility, such as Vehicle-as-a-Service models.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200bTo boost energy efficiency by 15% through development of new chargers with advanced technology, integration in a microgrid with distributed generation and optimized power management.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>To achieve early detection of 80% of cyber-attacks with impact on service.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles by the public by offering secure solutions tailored to users&#8217; needs.\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22176\" src=\"https:\/\/evsare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Logos-FEDER-y-GV.jpg\" alt=\"Logos FEDER y Gobierno Vasco\" width=\"451\" height=\"110\" \/>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221; el_id=&#8221;enerbrain&#8221;][vc_row top_padding=&#8221;35&#8243; bottom_padding=&#8221;70&#8243;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;cnc-headline&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>ENERBRAIN<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>ENErgy BRAIN<\/strong>\u00a0Energy management solution for communities and commercial and industrial prosumers:<\/p>\n<p>The overall objective of this project is to develop a new energy management solution for Energy Communities and commercial and industrial prosumers that incorporate renewable sources, storage, electric vehicle charging points and other manageable demand elements. This solution will be flexible and configurable according to the characteristics and typology of each installation.<\/p>\n<p>The energy management solution consists of a set of elements and tools which, operated jointly, enable optimal management of the energy flows of the installation, optimising self\u2011consumption of local generation resources and managing loads to reduce supply costs. It is a comprehensive solution that combines control, monitoring and operation of the entire installation, thereby responding to a type of installation that is expected to have high commercial demand in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ENEBRAIN<\/strong>\u00a0is being developed in collaboration between EVsare and EDINOR, who will jointly design the energy management solution and deploy it in their respective market sectors. In addition, it will benefit from the technological support of the RVCTI through CIDETEC and TECNALIA, who will contribute their expertise in storage system management and predictive algorithms.<\/p>\n<p>The project is funded through the Hazitek Business R&amp;D support programme. The facility is located at the REPSOL Group&#8217;s Ugaldebieta service station, in Abanto-Zierbena and marks a major innovation in several aspects: \u200b Vehicles capable of taking the maximum power can be charged in 5\u201310 minutes (comparable to conventional refuelling times). \u200b The four terminals are each capable of delivering up to 400 kW with the CCS standard, and 100kW with the ChaDeMo standard.\u200b The facility&#8217;s DC bus architecture allows optimum distribution of available power to up to four vehicles.\u200b The technology allows for the incorporation of renewable distributed generation and power storage.
